The Oil Painters of America is the largest organization in the United States dedicated to preserving and promoting excellence in representational oil paintings.
This year the OPA's Annual National Exhibition of over 200 oil paintings is taking place at the Dana Gallery.

This year's Juror of Awards, Ramon Kelley OPAM, presented 31 awards. The grand prize in the Signature and Associate Division of $20,000 was awarded to Howard Friedland for "Morning in Giverny." The second place, American Art Collector Award of Excellence was presented to Harry Ahn for "Song of Remembrance" and the third place Fine Art Connoisseur Magazine Award of Excellence was given to Ann Hardy for "Fishbowl."
