Jeff received his degree from Montana State University, did graduate work at Eastern Montana College, then taught secondary level art. A longtime participant in the C.M. Russell Auction, Jeff is arguably one of the most sought after artist among thousands of artists at the CM Russell Auction. Walker lives and works from his home and studio near Fort Shaw, west of Great Falls.
